Crankshaft Position Sensor
ECM depends upon crankshaft position sensor for RPM signals. ECM uses signals to determine triggering of power transistors and fuel injectors. See DTC P0335 OR P1336: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
