KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM CHECK

Check the keyless entry system as described below. If it does not work, perform troubleshooting.
Refer to Symptom Chart.

- Operate the transmitter to check that the doors and liftgate [LANCER SPORTBACK] can be locked and unlocked.

- Operate the transmitter to check that the answerback function works in response to doors and liftgate [LANCER SPORTBACK] locking/unlocking.
NOTE:
The hazard answerback setting can be changed using the customization function. Confirm which setting is activated before performing these checks. Refer to Configuration Function.
