2007 Mitsubishi Outlander LS, FWDSECTION Diagnostic Procedure
  1. STEP 1. Check the power window fully closed position 
    1. Carry out the learning procedures of the power window fully closed position. Refer to LEARNING PROCEDURES OF THE POWER WINDOW FULLY CLOSED POSITION  .
    2. Recheck if the diagnostic trouble code is set.

      Erase the diagnostic trouble code.

      Press the driver's door window switch (on the power window main switch) down to open the window, and pull up the driver's door window switch to fully does the window.

      Check if the diagnostic trouble code is set.

    Q: Is the check result normal? 

    YES:  The procedure is complete.

    NO:  Go to Step 2.

  2. STEP 2. Diagnostic trouble code recheck 

    Replace the front power window motor (LH). Recheck if the diagnostic trouble code is set.

    1. Erase the diagnostic trouble code.
    2. Press the driver's door window switch (on the power window main switch) down to open the window, and pull up the driver's door window switch to fully does the window.
    3. Check if the diagnostic trouble code is set.

    Q: Is the diagnostic trouble code set? 

    YES:  Replace the power window main switch.

    NO:  The procedure is complete. Verify that the power window works normally.
