Check that there is continuity between the electrical contact of the contact connector (liftgate side) and the connector terminal.

TESTING CONTACT CONNECTOR (LIFTGATE SIDE)

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
Between electrical contact 1 of the contact connector and connector F-13 terminal 5 Less than 2 ohms
Between electrical contact 2 of the contact connector and connector F-13 terminal 3 Less than 2 ohms
Between electrical contact 3 of the contact connector and connector F-13 terminal 1 Less than 2 ohms
Between electrical contact 4 of the contact connector and connector F-13 terminal 4 Less than 2 ohms
Between electrical contact 5 of the contact connector and connector F-13 terminal 2 Less than 2 ohms
