PCV Valve

- Remove PCV valve and gently shake valve. Valve should rattle if moving freely.
- Hold PCV valve with vacuum side down. Insert thin rod in top. Using light pressure, depress end of PCV valve spring .2-.3" (5-10 mm). Release pressure on rod. PCV valve spring should quickly lift rod to its original position.
- Connect PCV valve to vacuum hose, and start engine. Ensure vacuum is flowing through valve. Clean or replace PCV valve as necessary.
