BRAKELIGHT Switch

2001 Mitsubishi Mirage LS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION BRAKELIGHT Switch

Connect a multimeter to both terminals on brakelight switch. Continuity should exist when plunger is released. Continuity should not exist when plunger is pushed in 0.16" (4 mm) from outer case edge surface. For vehicles equipped with cruise control, check for continuity at connectors "A" and "B" of the brakelight switch. See Fig 1 .
