DTC Set Criteria (1.5L)

2001 Mitsubishi Mirage DE, StandardSECTION DTC Set Criteria (1.5L)
  • Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) signal voltage is 150 millivolts or less for 3 minutes or more after engine is started. Engine coolant temperature is 180Β°F (82Β°C) or more. Engine speed is more than 1200 RPM. Intake manifold pressure is 5.8 psi (40 kPa) or more. Monitor runs once per trip for 10 seconds. Code will set if input voltage to ECM interface circuit is 4.5 volts or more when 5 volts is applied to HO2S output line through a resistor.
  • HO2S signal voltage is 100 millivolts or less for 3 minutes or more after engine is started. Engine coolant temperature is 180Β°F (82Β°C) or more. Engine speed is more than 1200 RPM for (M/T) or 1000 RPM for (A/T). Front HO2S output voltage is 500 millivolts or more, and at least 20 seconds have passed since fuel shut-off control was released. Monitor runs once per trip for 10 seconds. Code will set if HO2S output does not increase 100 millivolts or more in response to ECM making air-fuel ratio 15 percent richer.
