Defogger Switch Test: Mirage

2001 Mitsubishi Mirage DE, StandardSECTION Mirage

Turn defogger off. Using ohmmeter, check switch continuity. Continuity should be present between terminals No. 1 and 3 (illumination), and between terminals No. 2 and 6 (indicator light). Turn defogger on. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3, terminals No. 5 and 6, and between terminals No. 2, 4 and 6. See Fig 1. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
