Oil Pump: Disassembly

1995 Mitsubishi Montero LS, Automatic, V4AW3SECTION Disassembly
  1. Remove seal rings from rear of stator shaft. Remove bolts from rear of pump assembly. Remove stator shaft from pump body. See Figure .
  2. Place reference mark on drive and driven gears for reassembly reference and remove from pump body. If oil seal requires replacement, pry seal from body.
