  1. Clean all parts with soft brush and solvent. Check jets for damage or clogging. Clean jets with compressed air. Do not use wire or other metal objects to clean jets.
  2. Check diaphragms for damage or cracks. Check needle valve for binding or poor seat contact. If needle valve is hard to slide, binding, or poor seat contact is suspected, replace needle valve.
  3. Check fuel inlet filter (located above needle valve) for clogging and damage. Check float operation. Check float and lever for deformation and damage. Check float chamber and main body for damage and cracks.
  4. Check operation of throttle valve, choke valve and link. If not operating properly, clean and lubricate. Check idle mixture adjusting screw for grooves, ridges, or other damage.
