  • Before replacing the windshield washer pump, check the washer fluid reservoir for dirt contamination and clean if necessary!

Preliminary work needed:Β 

Removal:Β

NOTE: Catch any leakage washer fluid if necessary.

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Unlock hose pipes and disconnect from windshield washer pump (2).

Pull windshield washer pump (2) upwards out of washer fluid reservoir for washer system.

If necessary remove sealing ring with strainer (3) from washer fluid reservoir and windshield washer pump (2).

Installation:Β

NOTE: Replace sealing ring with strainer (3).
Coat sealing ring (3) with lubricant.
Ensure hose pipes are laid without kinks.

Feed in windshield washer pump (2) into washer fluid reservoir for washer system.

Connect hose pipes to windshield washer pump (2).

Connect the connector (1).

If necessary, top up washer fluid reservoir.
