Backrest Heating For Driver And Passenger: Notes
Seat heating serves to set up a pleasant temperature in the backrest and seat cushion.
The seat heating includes backrest heating and seat cushion heating.
The backrest heaters for the driver's and front passenger's seats consist of seat heater pads with integral temperature sensors installed in the backrest. iDrive can vary the heat distribution to the seat cushion and backrest with the assistance of the temperature sensor in the seat cushion.
The number of temperature sensors installed in the seat for the seat heating function is dependent on the series and equipment.
If a temperature sensor is installed in the backrest in addition to the temperature sensor in the seat surface, iDrive can be used to distribute the heat output differently on the seat surface and backrest.
