- Front seat belt pretensioners are part of seat belt buckle assembly. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEMΒ under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Remove appropriate front seat. Remove outer seat trim panel. Disconnect seat belt pretensioner harness connector. See Figure . Remove pretensioner mounting screw and seat belt pretensioner.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten seat belt pretensioner mounting screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEMΒ under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
