(cylinder bank 6 to 10)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

  • Read out fault memory of DME control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
  • Switch off ignition
  • Remove left intake filter housing 
  • Remove left ignition coil cover

Release plug connector (1) and pull off.

Release screw.

Remove pulse generator (2).

Installation: 

Replace sealing ring and coat with antiseize agent.
