Special tools required:Β 

  • 64 1 020
NOTE: Temperature of rear light and cover for rear light must be at least 18Β°C.
Clean bonding area with spirit and allow to dry (air drying time at least 1 minute).
After this period has elapsed, do not touch the bonding area any more.
Pull off protective film from cover for rear light.
Do not touch bonding area.

Rear light removed:Β 

Fit cover for rear light (1) at point (2) on rear light (3) and attach in direction of arrow to rear light (3).

Press down cover for rear light (1) in small intervals (1-2 cm) all round with firm thumb pressure for approx. 5-10 seconds in each case.

Rear light installed:Β 

Release stop screw (1).

Installation:Β 

Make sure closed luggage compartment lid is flush with side panel. Refer to Fig 3 .

If necessary, correct setting by turning stop screw (1).

NOTE: Cover for rear light (2) is fed in under rain channel trim at rear (1).

Carefully raise rain channel trim at rear (1) with special tool 64 1 020.
