Overview of functions
The convertible top module for the R52 is based on the convertible top module of the E85. An additional folding sunroof is integrated. The folding sunroof as well as the convertible top control are operated with only two buttons.
To open the convertible top, the clamping bracket must be locked and the back shelf located at the bottom.
Danger
In the event of a defective (=sustained activation) micro-switch of the back shelf/clamping bracket, damage can occur on the rear window/convertible top when the convertible top is opened.
For this reason, check that the clamping bracket is locked and that the back shelf has made contact before opening the convertible top.
