Hood Latch: Removal
2011 Mercury Mariner Premier, 2.5 7, AWDSECTION Removal
- Loosen the hood latch nut.
- Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
- Disconnect the hood latch release cable.
- Release the cable conduit.
- Disconnect the cable.
- Remove the hood latch.
- If necessary, remove the hood latch release lever.
NOTE:
Do not remove the nut.
NOTE:
Mark the hood latch position prior to removal of the hood latch bolts.
