Removal and Installation
2011 Mercury Mariner Premier, 2.5 7, AWDSECTION Removal and Installation
- Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCH in this service information.
- Disconnect the 3 hood latch release handle cable guides.
- Note the routing of the hood latch release cable.
- Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
NOTE:
Breaking the tab does not require handle assembly replacement.
