- DO1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
Are DTCs P2227, P2228, or P2229 present?
Yes No For DTC P2227, GO to DO2.
For DTCs P2228 or P2229, GO to DO3.For all others, GO to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS . - DO2 DTC P2227: CHECK FOR A BARO SENSOR CORRELATION CONCERN
- Ignition ON, engine OFF.
- Access the PCM and monitor the BARO, MAP and TIP_PRS_BOOST PIDs.
Is the BARO pressure reading within 6.87 kPa (1 psi) of the MAP reading and 7.25 kPa (1.05 psi) of the TIP_PRS_BOOST reading?
Yes No The system is operating correctly at this time. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. GO to DO3. - DO3 CHECK FOR CORRECT PCM OPERATION
