Knock Sensor (KS): Installation

Engine block-mounted KS 

  1. Install the KS  and the bolt.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  2. Connect the KS  electrical connector.
  3. Install the lower intake manifold. For additional information, refer to LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD .

    Cylinder head-mounted KS 

  4. Install the KS  and the bolt.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  5. Connect the KS  electrical connector.
