Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Normal Operation
Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 44 (15A) supplies fused battery voltage to the brake on/off (BOO) switch, along circuit CBP44 (VT), with the ignition switch in the RUN/START position. With the brake pedal released, the BOO switch is closed and voltage is supplied to the ABS module from the switch along circuit CES09 (VT/OG). When the brake pedal is applied, the BOO switch opens and the voltage supply is interrupted.
