Oil Pump: Removal
2010 Mercury Mariner Hybrid, AWDSECTION Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to ENGINE LUBRICATION COMPONENTS - EXPLODED VIEW, OIL PAN, OIL PUMP, OIL PUMP SCREEN AND PICKUP TUBE AND OIL PANΒ .
- Remove the timing drive components. For additional information, refer to TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTSΒ .
- Remove the 3 bolts, the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
- Discard the O-ring seal.
- Remove the 3 bolts and the oil pump.
WARNING:
If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
