P2535 - IGNITION SWITCH RUN/START POSITION CIRCUIT HIGH

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) carries out a logic check on the ISP-R and ISPR/S circuits. If the ISP-R/S circuit stays high longer than a calibrated amount of time, or is high when the PCM when it is expected to be low, this DTC sets.
Possible Causes: 
  • ISP-R/S circuit short to VPWR
  • Damaged ignition switch
  • PCM
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the KEYST parameter identifier (PID). The PID should indicate RUN when the ignition is in the ON position and RUN/START when the ignition is in the START position.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
