P0130 - O2 CIRCUIT (BANK 1, SENSOR 1)

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) for a circuit concern. The test fails when the PCM detects a concern with one of the circuits used to determine the oxygen content in the exhaust gas.
Possible Causes: 
  • Open UO2S circuit
  • Open UO2SGREF circuit
  • UO2S circuit short to voltage or ground
  • UO2SGREF circuit short to voltage or ground
  • UO2SPC circuit short to voltage or ground
  • UO2SPCT circuit short to voltage or ground
  • Damaged universal HO2S

Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
