2010 Mercury Mariner Hybrid, AWDSECTION Removal and Installation

NOTE: This procedure applies to Fusion/Milan with Sony® sound and MKZ with THX® sound only. For all other amplifiers, refer to the appropriate procedure(s).
  1. Upload the audio DSP  module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
    NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
  2. Remove the 4 pushpins and the RH luggage compartment trim panel.
  3. Disconnect the audio DSP  module electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the 3 bolts and the audio DSP  module.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Download the configuration information to the audio DSP  module. For additional information, refer to PMI  in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
