The Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) acts as a customer interface with the audio system and the climate control system. When a switch is pressed, a message is broadcast over the MS-CANΒ  . When a climate control switch is pressed, the HVAC module sends a message back to the FCIM to illuminate the correct switches to indicate the status of the climate control system.
