Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Installation

    NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the new O-ring seal prior to installation.
  1. Using a new O-ring seal, install the ECT sensor.
    • Tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft).
  2. Connect the ECT sensor electrical connector.
  3. Position the CAC tube and tighten the clamps.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
