P0A7A - GENERATOR INVERTER PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC indicates a generator motor high voltage inverter or a traction battery concern.
Possible Causes: 
  • Inverter concern
  • Inverter temperature sensor
  • Generator control module (GCM)
  • Generator gate drive circuit open
  • Generator current sensor
  • Generator current out of range
  • GCM supply voltage out of range
  • High voltage traction battery
Diagnostic Aids:  The TCM DTC P0A7A could be stored as a result of a traction battery concern. Check for the presence of traction battery control module (TBCM) DTC P0A1F, P0A27, or P0A8D.
