Transfer Case - All-Wheel Drive (AWD): Disassembly

- Remove the transfer case from the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Transfer CaseΒ .
- Using the Transmission Holding Fixture, secure the transfer case to a bench.
- If not done previously, remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
- Install the drain plug when finished draining.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
NOTE:
Discard all seals after removing them.

Make sure the holding fixture lock pin is secure.
