  1. Verify the customer concern.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

    • Door ajar switches
    • Interior lamp switches
    • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 18 (15A)
    • Lighting control module (LCM)
    • Driver door module (DDM)
    • Wiring, terminals or connectors
    • Bulb(s)
  3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
  4. NOTE: Make sure the dimmer switch is not in the minimum setting and is not set to turn the interior lamps on.
