Gearshift Lever: Removal

- Remove the console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE article.
- Disconnect the shift cable ends at the shift and select levers.
- Disconnect the gearshift cables from the gearshift lever base.
- Remove the 4 gearshift lever nuts.
- Remove the gearshift lever assembly.
CAUTION:
Carefully disconnect the cable from the shift lever base. Do not damage the shift cable retainers.
