  • With the key in RUN, MEASURE the voltage between the audio unit C290a-15, circuit CBP13 (GY/BN), harness side and ground.
    • If voltage is present, REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • If no voltage is present, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT - FUSION, MILAN  or AUDIO UNIT - ZEPHYR . TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.

SYMPTOM CHART - NAVIGATION

  • CHECK the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
    • If ABS module DTCs are present, REFER to VEHICLE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS to continue diagnosis of the ABS module.
    • If no ABS module DTCs are present, diagnose any audio unit DTCs. If the symptom is present after all audio unit DTCs are addressed, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT - ZEPHYR . SEND the audio unit to an authorized repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
