- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the lower radiator splash shield.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector and wiring harness retainer.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and position the A/C compressor aside.
- To install, tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the 6 bolts and position the A/C compressor bracket aside.
- To install, tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
- Remove the oil pressure sender.
- To install, tighten to 14 N.m (10 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply pipe sealant with Teflon® to the oil pressure sender threads.
