The PSCM will monitor the amount of force needed to assist with vehicle steering when the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 6 volts, all other EPAS sensors are functioning correctly and the EPAS gear is providing assist.

  • DTC P07AE:09 (Transmission Friction Element G Performance/Stuck Off: Component Failure) - If the amount of friction in the steering system exceeds the allowable threshold, DTC P07AE:09 will be set. Low air pressure in the tires could cause DTC P07AE:09 to set.
