- Clean and inspect the fuel tube and spring lock coupling.
- Lubricate the end of the fuel tube with clean engine oil.
- Install the spring lock coupling onto the fuel tube until fully seated.
- Pull on the spring lock coupling to make sure it is correctly locked onto the fuel tube.
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT .
