Front Disc Brake: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove and discard the 2 bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
- Remove and discard the brake disc screw.
- Remove the brake disc.
CAUTION:
Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose. Use a suitable tool and support the brake caliper.
NOTE:
If the brake disc cannot be removed easily, apply penetrating and lock lubricant on the brake disc-to-hub mating surfaces.
