- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - AISIN AW21 article.
- Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
One of the 8 flexplate holes are offset so the flexplate can only be installed in one position.
