| DTC | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|
| P1260 | Theft Detected, Vehicle Immobilized | If there are any PATS DTCs present in the IC, ADDRESS them first. REFER to the DTC CHARTS . This DTC can also indicate a Controller Area Network (CAN) or a parameter reset concern. Be sure to verify if there are any communication concerns/DTCs with any modules. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If DTC P1260 is the only DTC present, there can be a parameter reset concern, an intermittent power or ground concern with the Transmission Control Module (TCM). REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . If necessary, CHECK the powers and ground to the TCM and PCM. REFER to the appropriate Systems Wiring Diagram to determine the power and ground circuits. |
