Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The mass air flow (MAF) sensor electronics module and body are calibrated as a unit and must be serviced as a unit. Do not tamper with the sensing elements located in the air flow bypass of the MAF body.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
3. Disconnect the mass airflow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the 4 nuts and the MAF sensor.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
