ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR

Removal and Installation
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove the battery tray.







4. NOTE: Engine shown partially disassembled for clarity.

Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.







5. Remove the ECT sensor.
- Pull upward on the locking tab.
- Rotate the sensor counterclockwise and remove.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
