Master Cylinder/Booster Assembly: Installation
2001 Mercury Sable LS, 4D Sedan, 3.0 U, AX4SSECTION Installation
- Install NEW "O" ring into groove in master cylinder. Ensure "O" ring is seated properly. Position master cylinder onto mounting studs. Tighten mounting nuts to specification. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
- Tighten fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Bleed brake system using procedure specified. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEMΒ . Operate brake several times. Check for leaks.
