A/C Clutch Cycling Pressure Switch
The A/C clutch cycling pressure switch is mounted on a Schrader valve on top of accumulator-drier, monitors low side pressure. If low side pressure decreases to a preset pressure, switch contacts open, preventing compressor clutch engagement. As pressure increases to a preset pressure, switch contacts close, allowing compressor clutch engagement. See A/C CYCLING SWITCH SPECIFICATIONSΒ table. When replacing A/C cycling switch it is not necessary to discharge A/C system.
