Check the following items before proceeding with testing:

  • Check battery for state of charge.
  • Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
  • Ensure transmission is in Park or Neutral, or clutch pedal is fully depressed.
  • Check fuse No. 10 (20-amp) in battery junction box.
