Check the following items before proceeding with testing:
- Check battery for state of charge.
- Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
- Ensure transmission is in Park or Neutral, or clutch pedal is fully depressed.
- Check fuse No. 10 (20-amp) in battery junction box.
