2000 Mercury Mystique GS, 2.0 3, AutomaticSECTION Power Circuits

Turn ignition off. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage between ground and PCM pin No. A44 (KAPWR) on LS or pin No. 55 (KAPWR) on all other models. Turn ignition switch to START or RUN position. Check for battery voltage between ground and VPWR fuse on LS or PCM connector pin No. 71 (VPWR). If battery voltage is not present, power is not being supplied from PCM power relay. See TEST B under SYSTEM TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V (GASOLINE) article.
