Engine Controls - Self-Diagnostics - EEC-V (Bi-Fuel): Programming: COMPUVALVE
Compuvalve reset allows long term fuel adaptive strategy to be reset using ignition switch and ALT fuel switch. Adaptive strategy should be reset after an engine condition has caused the vehicle to run rich or lean for an extended period of time or a heated oxygen requires replacement. Resetting compuvalve resets adaptive table to original factory values. To reset compuvalve perform the following:
- Ensure ignition switch is turned to OFF position.
- Perform necessary vehicle preparation and visual inspection.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position (engine off).
- Cycle the ALT fuel switch from ALT to GAS position 5 times in 10 seconds.
- Operate the vehicle in ALT fuel mode for 5 minutes.
