Single Switch

1999 Mercury Tracer LS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Single Switch

Remove appropriate single switch from vehicle. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between specified terminals while operating switch. See appropriate SINGLE SWITCH TESTING table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Replace switch if resistance between specified terminals is 5 ohms or more. DO NOT check resistance between terminals not specified.

Down 6 & 8; 7 & 10

Up 3 & 5; 1 & 4
