Master Window Switch

1999 Mercury Tracer LS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Master Window Switch

Remove driver's door master window switch from vehicle. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between specified terminals while operating switch. See appropriate MASTER WINDOW SWITCH TESTING table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Replace switch if resistance between specified terminals is 5 ohms or more. DO NOT check resistance between terminals not specified.
