- Ensure anti-theft system is not armed, ignition switch is in LOCK position and all doors are closed. Do all the following within 30 seconds: turn ignition switch to RUN position, press door lock switch to UNLOCK position 3 times, turn ignition switch to LOCK position, press door lock switch to UNLOCK position 3 times and then turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Horn should chirp once after ignition switch in turned to RUN position after step 1)Β has been performed. If horn chirps, go to next step. If horn does not chirp, wait at least 30 seconds and repeat step 1)Β .
- Press door lock switch to UNLOCK position, then to LOCK position. If autolock feature was disabled, horn will chirp once. If autolock feature was enabled, horn will chirp twice. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Horn will chirp once, after ignition switch is turned to LOCK position to confirm that you enabled or disabled autolock feature.
