Leaf Spring: Notes
1998 Mercury Villager GS, Van CargoSECTION Notes
NOTE:
There are two different leaf springs available on the Villager and both are nearly identical. The optional handling package requires a modified spring rate leaf spring. Ensure that the proper leaf spring is being installed on the vehicle by noting whether there is a rear stabilizer bar or not. A vehicle with a rear stabilizer bar has the handling package and requires the modified spring rate leaf spring.
