Driver Seats With Memory
Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to data link connector. Perform DATA LINK DIAGNOSTIC TEST. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If NGS tester responds with CKT 914, CKT 915 or CKT 70=ALL ECUS NO RESP/NOT EQUIP, diagnose network concern. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If NGS tester responds with, NO RESP/NOT EQUIP for Driver Seat Module (DSM), perform TEST K under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
If NGS tester responds with SYSTEM PASSED for all modules, retrieve DTCs for DSM. If any DTCs exist, perform appropriate diagnostic test. See appropriate DSM DTC DEFINITIONS table. If no DTCs were retrieved, repair system by symptom. See SYMPTOM CHART and perform appropriate test.

When to See a Mechanic
